Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rob Dylan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Lepine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Al Lepine will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rob Dylan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Al Lepine!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dylan shoots in for a double leg but Lepine sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lepine misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lepine tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dylan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lepine tries to clinch but Dylan is having none of it.

Dylan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lepine really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dylan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lepine wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Dylan tries to advance to mount but Lepine denies him.
Dylan throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Dylan works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dylan trying to control the position but Lepine is working away.
Dylan fails to land a wild elbow strike.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dylan tries to move to mount but Lepine blocks the move with his legs.
Dylan happy to just control the position for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lepine can do anything to dispel that myth.
Dylan in side control, throwing shots but Lepine defends.
Dylan misses with the ground and pound.
Dylan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lepine keeps working.
Dylan scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Lepine to see if he's OK.
Lepine takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dylan cracks Lepine with a big elbow.
Dylan wants to control but Lepine is keeping him busy.
Dylan throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
An elbow from Dylan crashes against the mat.
Dylan in side control, just content to control the action for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dylan fails to land a wild elbow strike.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dylan trying to control the action but Lepine is working from the bottom.
Dylan advances to full mount.
Dylan fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Dylan swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rob Dylan!
