Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Travis Flint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couture is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pride Theme. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fedor Couture!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture lands a jab to Flint's midsection.
Flint looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Flint is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Couture tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Flint in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Flint keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Couture's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flint drops back, looking for a kneebar! Couture looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Couture looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Couture!
Flint pushes Couture away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Couture gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Couture wants to stand but Flint is controlling his arm.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Couture throws a strike aimed at the side of Flint's head but Flint avoids it well.
Flint has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Couture landing strikes.
It looks like Travis Flint has been cut.
Flint takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Flint struggling a bit here.
Flint is looking for a sweep.
Flint gets back to half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Couture connects with a nice short shot to Flint's temple.
Couture takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Flint is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Couture's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Couture's back!
Flint controlling well, preventing Couture from escaping the position.
Couture trying to control the position but Flint manages to sink in the hooks.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Flint missing with punches from the back.
Couture covering up well and avoiding damage.
Couture is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Flint gets his way!
Flint struggling to land strikes to the head as Couture covers up.
Flint is not going to allow Couture to sit and survive in this position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Flint working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Flint has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Couture has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Flint has got one arm under Couture's chin. This could be trouble... Couture trying to control the other hand but Flint gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Couture has tapped out! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Travis Flint!
A relieved looking Travis Flint thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
