Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitsuomi Sakata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wander Leijonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sakata comes to the ring accompanied by Ketsunoke vs Shirinoke by Gintama OST. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leijonen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Leijonen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Leijonen. Sakata does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sakata moves into the clinch successfully.
Leijonen with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Sakata digs a right hand underneath Leijonen's ribcage. Leijonen let out a lung full of air as it connected.

We've been informed that Leijonen has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

That has opened up Wander Leijonen's cut even more.
Sakata throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Sakata drops Leijonen onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Leijonen is propped up by the ropes and works his way back to his feet!
Sakata presses Leijonen against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Sakata scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Sakata jerks Leijonen to the side and lands a massive knee to the head that knocks him out cold! Leijonen's lifeless body is proped up only by the ropes. Sakata steps back, hand raised, as the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Mitsuomi Sakata!
An intense looking Mitsuomi Sakata took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Minnasan, arigatou gozaimasu! Ore wa sugoku ureshii desu! Yatta!'.
