The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Korrales misses the target.
A bone on bone clash there as Foster blocks the leg kick.
A counter left hand to the body from Foster misses its target.
Korrales connects with the punch.
Korrales steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Foster.
Foster looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Foster lands a right hook to the body.
No joy there for Korrales, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Korrales takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Kermit Korrales has been cut.
Korrales misses with a left hand
and Foster makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Korrales looks winded!
Good exchange - Foster coming out on top.
Foster misses with a body shot.
Foster stuns Korrales with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Foster lands with a big right hook that stumbles Korrales - he's out on his feet here! Foster follows up with another monster hook that separates Korrales from consciousness! Korrales falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Foster stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Martin Foster!
After the fight, Martin Foster was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
