Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mason Burton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mason Burton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bobby Wilson! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson shoots in but Burton avoids the takedown attempt easily. Burton defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wilson. Wilson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Burton but Burton pushes him off and we're back to square one. Mason Burton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Wilson. Burton throws a quick inside leg kick. Wilson shoots in and bounces Burton off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Wilson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Burton, up you get! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wilson wants it to stay on the feet. Wilson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Burton quickly recovers to half guard. Wilson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson is trying to control the action in half guard but Burton is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Burton trying to control from the bottom.
Burton wants to get back to his feet. Burton wants to control but Wilson is keeping busy and won't allow it. Wilson wants to stand but Burton has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Wilson working over Burton with some ground and pound. Burton looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Wilson stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Burton tries to roll over but Wilson keeps him under control. Wilson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Burton defending well though. Wilson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Wilson is keen to just control but Burton is a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Wilson content to control rather than advance. Wilson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wilson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Wilson stands up from half guard. Wilson shoots and misses and Burton makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilson fails with the takedown and Burton counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Burton stops Wilson from getting back to his feet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wilson can do anything to dispel that myth. Burton throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wilson is controlling Burton's position as best he can from this difficult position. Burton thows a huge punch but Wilson dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Wilson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Wilson clinches. Wilson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Burton is pushing Wilson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Burton tries to circle away but Wilson has him pinned against the cage. Burton wants to break free but Wilson has control.
Burton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Wilson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Burton shoots in but Wilson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Wilson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Burton tries to avoid it but Wilson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Burton to the ground. Burton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Wilson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Burton with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burton is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wilson pulls his head out easily. Burton trying to control from the bottom.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wilson in particular looking to stall. Burton manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Wilson keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Wilson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilson wants a takedown.
Wilson pulls Burton into guard.
Wilson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Burton. Wilson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Burton missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Burton got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wilson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Burton has managed to get both his arms back between Wilson's legs - danger averted. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Burton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Burton throws an elbow that misses. Wilson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Burton's guard. Nice move by Wilson!

Wilson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mason Burton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Wilson. Wilson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wilson wants it to stay on the feet. Wilson shoots for a takedown but Burton saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Wilson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Burton's guard. Wilson is breathing heavily. Wilson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burton is pulling down on Wilson's head to control his posture. Burton avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Wilson stands up and waves to Burton to follow him. Wilson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Burton defends well and Wilson ends up having to push Burton into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Burton manages to break the clinch.

Bobby Wilson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson decides to pull guard. Wilson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Burton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Burton is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burton trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Burton connects with a couple of short punches. Wilson working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wilson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. No luck for Wilson with that takedown attempt. Mason Burton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Wilson. Burton gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wilson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Burton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wilson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wilson wants to pass the guard but Burton is keeping the position. Burton is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Burton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wilson defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson is stalling in the full guard. Wilson stands up from Burton's guard - Wilson perhaps looking for a knockout. Wilson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Burton lands a head kick. Wilson smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Wilson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wilson lands in his opponent's guard. Wilson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Wilson wants to stand but Burton has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Mason Burton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bobby Wilson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wilson wants to control from the top but Burton keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Bobby Wilson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Wilson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
