Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Riasco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Sansing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riasco's entrance music is The Mexakinz ft. Xzibit - The Wake Up Show. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Santiago Riasco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alan Sansing! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riasco shoots in for a takedown but Sansing shows good takedown defense. Riasco uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sansing. Riasco shoots in and gets a takedown into Sansing's guard. Sansing had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Riasco defends it easily. Riasco postures up.
Sansing wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Riasco is now in half guard. Sansing trying to hold on to Riasco's head to control him but Riasco postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Riasco is working for a kimura but Sansing is defending it quite comfortably.

That's one minute gone in the round. Riasco is looking to pass Sansing's guard but actually Sansing recovers to full guard. Riasco showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Riasco won't allow Sansing to sweep him here. Sansing throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Sansing is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Riasco trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Riasco working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sansing is working an open guard so Riasco takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Riasco gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Sansing to counter with a crisp jab. Riasco looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Sansing throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Riasco shoots in looking for a takedown but Sansing manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Riasco's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Sansing steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Riasco. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Santiago Riasco. That's going to take a lot out of him. Riasco changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sansing fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Riasco misses with a takedown attempt - Sansing sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A big right from Sansing misses. Riasco appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Riasco shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sansing is trying to defend but Riasco finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Sansing tries to get to full guard but Riasco has control of the leg.

Sansing is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Riasco's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Riasco's back! Riasco is taking damage to the body and head. Riasco trying to control the hands but Sansing breaks the grip. Riasco tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Riasco gets back to half guard.

Riasco wants to improve his position but Sansing is controlling well.
Sansing working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Sansing is trying to control the action in half guard but Riasco is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Sansing is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Riasco might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sansing lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Riasco hang on? The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sansing with shots to the head and body - Riasco looks very uncomfortable down there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sansing punishing his opponent with strikes. Sansing looking to finish Riasco with some ground and pound. This is bad for Riasco! Riasco is in a horrible position here. Sansing smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Riasco is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alan Sansing dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Riasco tries for a takedown but Sansing sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Sansing is looking to clinch but Riasco is avoiding it.
Riasco appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Nice sprawl there from Sansing as Riasco shoots in. A nice side step and Sansing releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Sansing misses with a short punch on the inside. Sansing struggles to land a body shot inside as Riasco controls his hands.
Riasco has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sansing avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Santiago Riasco. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sansing has a couple of punches blocked by Riasco.
Sansing lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Riasco backwards. Sansing tries to stall but Riasco uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Sansing has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Riasco seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Sansing can turn it around. Riasco changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sansing tries to avoid it but Riasco manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sansing to the ground. Sansing escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Riasco tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sansing defends well and Riasco ends up having to push Sansing into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Santiago Riasco is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sansing wants to clinch. Riasco shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sansing counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sansing is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Sansing is trying to work for a kimura but Riasco is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Riasco is trying to maintain the position but Sansing is very close to passing his half guard. Sansing wants to free his trapped foot but Riasco is holding on for dear life with his legs. Riasco looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Alan Sansing has got the better of the ground game so far. Sansing is thwarting Riasco's attempts to control the position.

Sansing is looking to take a break and control but Riasco is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sansing drops an elbow to the side of Riasco's head. Riasco actively working from the bottom here. Sansing working the head and body with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sansing trying to work for an americana but Riasco has managed to regain full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sansing trying to control the position from guard on top but Riasco is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Riasco is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Sansing trying to control but Riasco is working from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Riasco closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sansing circles away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nice sprawl there from Sansing as Riasco shoots in. Sansing is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Sansing tries to throw a body punch but Riasco avoids it by throwing Sansing back against the cage. Riasco looking for a takedown. Riasco gets underhooks to prevent Sansing's takedown attempt.

Alan Sansing showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Riasco's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Riasco shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sansing cracks Riasco with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Sansing fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sansing tries to close the distance and clinch but Riasco swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sansing tries to clinch but Riasco is having none of it. Riasco feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Sansing has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Riasco has passed into side control.

Riasco tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Riasco has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sansing is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Sansing is trying to control Riasco's posture but Riasco avoids it. Alan Sansing is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Riasco wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sansing, who protects the arm well. Sansing tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Riasco wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Riasco with the ground and pound but Sansing regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Riasco is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sansing is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Riasco with a flurry of punches that miss. Riasco throws an elbow that misses. Sansing uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Riasco's guard. Nice move by Sansing!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sansing lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Sansing is in the full mount, landing strikes. Sansing lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Riasco hang on? Sansing cracks Riasco with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sansing scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Sansing looking to control but Riasco is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. You get the feeling that Riasco really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Sansing has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sansing controlling his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Alan Sansing comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sansing has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Alan Sansing! A very excited looking Alan Sansing rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
