Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunder will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Thunder fails with the takedown
and Kelly counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kelly.
Kelly tries for a takedown. No joy.

Kelly really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kelly wants to get up but he can't break Thunder's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Kelly postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Thunder escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kelly gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Thunder had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kelly defends it easily.

Kelly wants to stand but Thunder is controlling his posture from full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thunder has momentary wrist control but Kelly slips an elbow through the middle.
Thunder utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Kelly throws a big right hand that misses.
Kelly throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Thunder works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Kelly gets tackled into the cage by Thunder. Thunder maintains the clinch.
Kelly wants to take the fight to the mat but Thunder manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Thunder lands a body shot.
Thunder pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Thunder has his takedown stuffed
and Kelly counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kelly is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Thunder has hold of Kelly's hands but Kelly slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Thunder is trying to stand up here but Kelly is controlling him well.
Kelly is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Thunder is just riding it out for now. Kelly eventually gives up the hold.
Kelly will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Thunder wants to get back to full guard.

Kelly has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kelly shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thunder but Thunder pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Thunder misses with an attempted mid kick.
