Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Niko Alzate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sharky Shark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shark has chosen Simon & Garfunkel - The Boxer as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sharky Shark!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alzate throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Shark sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Alzate misses the target.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Alzate lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Shark has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Shark and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Shark tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Shark looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Shark misses with a straight left.
Shark misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Alzate.
Shark on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Alzate misses with a low kick as Shark jumps back.
Alzate has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Shark.
Shark looks to score with a jab to the body but Alzate is just out of range.
Alzate fires out a quick counter leg kick but Shark just manages to avoid it.
A head kick misses from Shark.
Alzate moves out of range of the body kick from Shark.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alzate throws a solid leg kick but Shark takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Alzate.
Shark throws a low kick but Alzate moves out of range easily.
Shark misses with a body shot.
Alzate tries to counter with a takedown but Shark is quick to defend against it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Alzate.
Sharky Shark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alzate ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shark moves away.
Alzate drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shark keeping moving, preventing Alzate from controlling successfully.
Shark is looking to sweep but instead, Alzate has passed into half guard.
Shark wants to control but Alzate is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Alzate is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Shark sees it coming and defends easily.
Shark is refusing to be controlled, as Alzate sits in half guard.
Alzate seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Shark is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

A relieved looking Niko Alzate thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
