Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anzor Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lars Kenardly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greene comes to the cage accompanied by Skindred - Nobody. Kenardly has chosen Strokin as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lars Kenardly!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenardly keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nice defenses there by Greene.
Kenardly throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Greene.
Greene fails with a takedown attempt.
Kenardly has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Kenardly cracks Greene with an open hand slap.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Greene.
Greene looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Donk. Kenardly catches Greene right on the button with a cross.
Oh Greene is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Greene slaps away a takedown attempt from Kenardly, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kenardly tries a head kick but it misses.
Greene seems to have got his legs back now.
No joy there for Kenardly, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kenardly is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Greene.
Kenardly scores with a jab. Greene acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Kenardly fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kenardly thumps Greene with a low kick.
Greene connects with a body shot that sends Kenardly's belly button to the back.
Greene fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Kenardly instigates a clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Greene.

Greene escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Greene moves out of range of the body kick from Kenardly.

Kenardly might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Greene leaves Kenardly with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lars Kenardly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Greene looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Greene will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Kenardly breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Greene swats away the attempt to clinch by Kenardly.

Kenardly tries to close the distance and clinch but Greene swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kenardly is looking to clinch but Greene is avoiding it.
Kenardly cracks Greene with a right hand to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kenardly stalks Greene and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Greene's face. Greene staggers backwards, shaken.

Greene closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kenardly's guard.
Kenardly is trying to control the position but Greene postures up.
Kenardly working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Greene.
Greene postures up in Kenardly's guard and throws a big left but Kenardly blocks it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kenardly trying to keep a closed guard but Greene is proving a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kenardly gets caught napping as Greene dives in and scores a takedown. Kenardly manages to retain guard.
Kenardly has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Greene postures up.
Kenardly can't keep his opponent in guard - Greene advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Greene has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Greene lands a nice short elbow.

Greene is nestled in close to Kenardly, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

and Greene counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Kenardly down! Greene is looking to finish but Kenardly is intelligently defending himself.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Greene arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Kenardly's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Anzor Greene!
Anzor Greene spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
