The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nemeth gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Nemeth keeping moving, preventing Poynter from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Poynter stands up and waves to Nemeth to follow him.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Poynter.
Poynter is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nemeth has escaped the position, nice work there.
Poynter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nemeth is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Nemeth is trying to control Poynter's posture but Poynter avoids it.
Nemeth sneaks back into half guard.
Nemeth is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Poynter wants to control but Nemeth is keeping him busy.
Nemeth trying to hold on to Poynter's head to control him but Poynter postures up.
Nemeth is looking to improve his position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Poynter wants to stand up but Nemeth has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Nemeth regains full guard. Nicely done.
Nemeth has his foot on Poynter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Poynter works his way back into a safe position though.
Nemeth is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Poynter rolls with it to try and escape but Nemeth cranks on the arm and Poynter is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
