Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Colin Tan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chinzo Matsuzaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Colin Tan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chinzo Matsuzaka!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsuzaka tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
No joy there for Tan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Matsuzaka misses with a few strikes there.

Tan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Matsuzaka prevents it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Matsuzaka utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Tan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Matsuzaka on the ground.

Tan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Matsuzaka manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tan has Matsuzaka in his guard.

Matsuzaka is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Matsuzaka.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tan is looking to improve his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Matsuzaka goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Tan tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Matsuzaka counters with a nice low kick that buckles Tan's knee momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Chinzo Matsuzaka will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Tan counters with a shoot takedown. Matsuzaka fights it but they end up in guard.

Matsuzaka has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Matsuzaka had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tan is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Matsuzaka Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tan's back instead.

Tan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Tan manages to end up in side control.

Matsuzaka is trying to control Tan's posture but Tan avoids it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that's the end of the fight!
Colin Tan showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Tan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
