The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brooks's hands are dropping dangerously low here and One connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Brooks scrambles back to his feet.
One swings for the body but Brooks moves out of range.
One ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Brooks closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Brooks advances to mount.

Calvin Brooks decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
