The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conrad fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Marcos, pushing him back against the cage.
Conrad has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Marcos regains guard immediately.
Marcos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Conrad could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Conrad is posturing up here but Marcos has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Conrad tries to roll out but it's too tight and Conrad has to tap! Slick submission there by Marcos!
