Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Walter Rothko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Bryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel Bryan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter Rothko !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Bryan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rothko is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bryan takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Bryan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bryan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rothko is keeping the position for now.
Rothko tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rothko is looking to stand up but Bryan isn't so interested in that idea.
Bryan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rothko 's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bryan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bryan wants to pass the guard but Rothko is defending well.

Bryan tries to stand but Rothko is controlling from the bottom.
Bryan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bryan wants to pass the guard but Rothko is keeping the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Rothko closes the distance and clinches up with Bryan, looking for a takedown. Rothko pushes Bryan against the cage but Bryan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rothko lands with a kick to the temple. Bryan shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Rothko gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bryan to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Rothko is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bryan defends well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bryan forces his way into half guard.
Bryan looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Bryan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Rothko is refusing to be controlled, as Bryan sits in half guard.
Rothko is trying to stand up here but Bryan is controlling him well.

Rothko is looking to control Bryan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rothko avoid being mounted?
The fighters are battling for position here. Rothko manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Rothko shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bryan defends it nicely.

Bryan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rothko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rothko manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bryan's best efforts.

Bryan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Rothko tries to roll over but Bryan keeps him under control.
Bryan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bryan wants to take a breather but Rothko is having none of it.
Bryan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rothko knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Rothko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Bryan tries to clinch there but Rothko circles away.
Bryan looks for a takedown but Rothko sprawls well.

Rothko fakes the leg kick and cracks Bryan in the body.
Walter Rothko is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Bryan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rothko quickly recovers to half guard.

Bryan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
It looks like Bryan is going to stand back up.

Rothko is refusing to be controlled, as Bryan sits in half guard.

Daniel Bryan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Rothko is looking to clinch but Bryan is avoiding it.
Rothko shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rothko dives in and grabs Bryan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bryan pushes down on Rothko 's head and hops out.
Bryan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rothko paws at him with a jab and circles away.

I've got Bryan winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
