Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Chris Dean and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alkofer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Alkofer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Alkofer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but King is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
King tries to buck Alkofer off but Alkofer is having none of it.
Alkofer working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
King can't do much from the bottom here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alkofer is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. King knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

King is bucking up trying to escape but Alkofer cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Alkofer is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. King can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Alkofer swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and King is now in Alkofer's guard. A big mistake from Alkofer there, giving up the dominant position!

King stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alkofer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

King shoots in but Alkofer avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Alkofer counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Christian Alkofer has got the better of the ground game so far.
Alkofer seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. King is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
