Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Iain James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brady Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes has chosen Young Buck, TI, The Game, & Ludacris - Stomp as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Iain James has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Iain James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brady Barnes!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes throws a half hearted mid kick.
Barnes has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as James is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Barnes tries to land a front kick but James steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
The fight stays on the outside here - James looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Barnes throws the kick towards the body but James avoids it.
Barnes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Barnes swats away the attempt to clinch by James.
Barnes lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
James tries to close the distance and clinch but Barnes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Iain James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
James throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Barnes looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

James lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James tries to clinch up but Barnes circles away and keeps his distance.
Barnes doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
James wants to clinch but Barnes slips to the side
and Barnes counters with a crisp one two that drops James! Barnes thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves James to his feet! James is in big trouble!
James is rocked!
James wants to stay close but Barnes steps back to make room for something. James seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Barnes and James drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Brady Barnes!
