Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Jax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Steamboat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jax comes into the arena with Immortal Technique - The Rebel blaring out of the sound system. Ricky Steamboat has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Jax! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ricky Steamboat! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steamboat ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jax moves away. Steamboat moves away from the strike by Jax. Jax misses with a straight left. Steamboat cracks the inside of Jax's front leg. Jax slips under a jab. Steamboat just misses with a punch to the body.
That kick from Steamboat tenderised Jax's leg. Jax is trying to keep his angry face on. Steamboat throws a head kick that Jax semi-blocks.
Steamboat throws a nice looking combination but Jax bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Steamboat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jax fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jax throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Steamboat scores with a kick to the midsection. Steamboat closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steamboat scores with a head kick.
Ricky Steamboat is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Steamboat falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jax counters with a stiff right hand. Jax goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Steamboat throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Steamboat avoids a kick to the body.
Steamboat appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. A head kick misses from Steamboat. Steamboat lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Jax walks into a left hand. Jax throws the kick towards the body but Steamboat avoids it. Jax tries to clinch up. Nice straight punches there by Steamboat. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Steamboat.
Jax is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Steamboat throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Oh Jax is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Steamboat walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Jax drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Steamboat swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Jax's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricky Steamboat! Ricky Steamboat retains his lightweight title!
