Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rickey Shakes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tetsuo Miyagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tetsuo Miyagi will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rickey Shakes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tetsuo Miyagi! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shakes throws a wild body kick that Miyagi sees coming a mile off. Shakes looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Shakes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Miyagi circles away. Miyagi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shakes tries to avoid it but Miyagi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shakes to the ground. Shakes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Shakes shoots in for a double leg but Miyagi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Shakes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Shakes is looking to clinch. Miyagi is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Shakes doesn't manage to clinch there - Miyagi circles away.
Miyagi changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Miyagi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shakes looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miyagi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Miyagi is looking to take a break and control but Shakes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miyagi is trying to get an arm triangle but Shakes is defending well. Miyagi controlling the position. Miyagi tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Miyagi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Miyagi in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Shakes is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tetsuo Miyagi!
