The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riley shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Zal counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zal connects with a nice short shot to Riley's temple.
Zal wants to pass to mount but Riley is defending the position.
Zal throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Riley manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Zal misses the shot to the body.
Riley has his takedown stuffed
and Zal counters with a one-two to the body.
Riley is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zal misses with a jab, cross combination.
Riley is still on wobbly legs! Can Zal finish him?
Zal looks to land a combination but Riley avoids it well.
Zal cracks Riley with a hook to the temple - Riley is on wobbly legs here! Zal swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Riley falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Zal wins by TKO!
