Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kenny Kelades!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kostya Gluchov!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelades blocks a head kick by Gluchov.
We've been hearing reports that Kelades has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Gluchov fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gluchov throws a series of punches but Kelades moves out of range.
Kelades shoots in looking for a takedown but Gluchov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kelades's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Gluchov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kelades. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Gluchov really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Kelades's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Gluchov looks for a takedown but Kelades sprawls well.
Kelades stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kelades wants it to stay on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Gluchov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kelades manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Gluchov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kelades walks away with a smile on his face. Gluchov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kelades manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gluchov on his heels. He'll look to pass Gluchov's guard now, I'm sure.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kelades, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
