10 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antti Silava! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silava throws a big shot that misses. Miyamoto rushes Silava and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Miyamoto lands a nice uppercut. Miyamoto is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Silava is defending well for now. Silava creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Silava avoids the elbow strike from Miyamoto, against the cage.
Silava tries to stall but Miyamoto uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

It looks like Antti Silava has been cut. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Miyamoto just misses with a elbow thrown towards Silava's brow. Silava lands a good knee to the midsection. Miyamoto won't want to take too many of those. Silava pushes off an throws an elbow but Miyamoto leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. We've been informed that Silava has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Miyamoto effectively controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miyamoto comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Miyamoto creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Silava's defenses. Silava throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Miyamoto lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Silava backwards. Miyamoto is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Silava is keeping busy. Miyamoto presses Silava against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Miyamoto dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Miyamoto lands on the inside with an uppercut. Silava is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. A left hand lands to the body for Miyamoto.

Antti Silava's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Silava creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Silava misses with an elbow strike.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Antti Silava's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Phoenix Miyamoto! After winning the bout, Phoenix Miyamoto thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
