Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malo Siva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Dace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Don Dace is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dace stuffs the takedown attempt from Siva. Siva gets slowly back to his feet.
Dace misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Siva could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Siva shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dace napping and manages to drive through into side control!
You can see the frustration on Dace's face as Siva controls the position.

Siva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dace does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Siva cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Dace lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Siva wants to clinch up but Dace keeps it at a distance.
Dace shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Siva napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Dace is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Siva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Dace thows a huge punch but Siva dodges it nicely.
Siva is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dace's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dace's back!

I really don't envy Dace right now.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Dace grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Dace is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Siva gets his way!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Siva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Siva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Siva shoots in for a takedown but Dace shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Siva closes the distance and clinches up with Dace, looking for a takedown. Siva pushes Dace against the cage but Dace circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Siva takes a kick to the side of the head.
Dace shoots for a double leg takedown but Siva sprawls well. He's pushed Dace's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Siva lands with a cross.
Siva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dace wants to stand but Siva is controlling the position.

Siva decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Dace, up you get!

and Dace counters with a head kick. That will keep Siva thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Dace gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Malo Siva.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Siva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
