3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jacek Trzebiatowski! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patrick lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Trzebiatowski at a distance.
Patrick misses the body punch and Trzebiatowski counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Trzebiatowski working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Trzebiatowski missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Trzebiatowski postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Patrick to stand up. Patrick scores with a hook to the body. Trzebiatowski takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Trzebiatowski fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A lazy body kick from Patrick and Trzebiatowski counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Trzebiatowski stands up from Patrick's guard - Trzebiatowski perhaps looking for a knockout. Patrick throws a head kick that misses and Trzebiatowski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Patrick will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Trzebiatowski sitting in guard, not really doing much. Patrick tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Oooh a big shot gets through from Trzebiatowski. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Trzebiatowski lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Trzebiatowski controlling well, preventing Patrick from escaping the position.
Trzebiatowski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Patrick grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Trzebiatowski connects with a big shot to the side of Patrick's head.

Let's hope that Trzebiatowski has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trzebiatowski is trying hard to land a takedown here. Patrick sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Patrick thinks about countering with a body kick. Patrick lands an overhand left. Patrick displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Trzebiatowski. Patrick throws a series of punches but Trzebiatowski avoids them all with ease. Patrick gets off balance looking for a body kick and Trzebiatowski counters with a nice double leg into guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Trzebiatowski's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Patrick not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Patrick defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Trzebiatowski. Kellen Patrick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacek Trzebiatowski. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Patrick tries to clinch up and Trzebiatowski counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Patrick!
