Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barry Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keijo Virtanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Virtanen has chosen Maamme Laulu as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Barry Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Keijo Virtanen! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allen closes the distance and pushes Virtanen back into the cage. Allen prevents Virtanen from breaking the clinch. Virtanen has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Allen avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Allen gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Virtanen.
Allen tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A short left from Allen. Allen tries to work over Virtanen's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Allen stalling against the cage.
Allen is defending well against a takedown attempt. Barry Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keijo Virtanen. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Allen lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Allen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Virtanen jumps guard but Allen turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Virtanen fails to pull guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Allen scores with an uppercut up the middle. Nice body punch from Allen - that landed with a thud.
Virtanen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Virtanen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Virtanen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Allen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Allen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Allen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Virtanen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Allen defends well. Allen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Virtanen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Allen has managed to get both his arms back between Virtanen's legs - danger averted. Virtanen looks winded! Allen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Allen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Allen looking to pass the guard. Virtanen keeping moving, preventing Allen from controlling successfully. Virtanen pushes a forearm under Allen's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Allen is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Keijo Virtanen! After winning the bout, Keijo Virtanen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
