Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terrance Fuller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Kimbro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fuller comes to the cage accompanied by Long Haired Country Boy - Charlie Daniels Band. Fuller has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimbro moves into the clinch successfully.
Fuller is breathing heavily. Fuller prevents a takedown attempt there.
Kimbro keeps control of Fuller as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Fuller wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Terrance Fuller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Kimbro. Fuller wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kimbro has him pressed against the cage. Kimbro goes for a takedown in the clinch but Fuller prevents it.

Kimbro feints and as Fuller raises his hands in defense, Kimbro changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Kimbro seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. I looks like Kimbro might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Despite being in the dominant position, Joe Kimbro just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kimbro drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Kimbro distracts Fuller with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Kimbro content to stall in guard here. Fuller is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kimbro is controlling him. Kimbro controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fuller wants to get back to his feet but Kimbro is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Kimbro sitting in guard here, content to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kimbro ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kimbro no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kimbro can do anything to dispel that myth. Fuller preventing the sweep. Kimbro manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fuller wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Fuller is looking to break free of the clinch but Kimbro has double underhooks. Kimbro lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Kimbro is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fuller gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Terrance Fuller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Kimbro. Kimbro has Fuller pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kimbro pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Fuller tumbling to the mat - Kimbro dives into Fuller's guard. Kimbro postures up.
Kimbro controls from within his opponent's guard. Kimbro trying to control the position from guard on top but Fuller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fuller wants to stand up but Kimbro is controlling him. Kimbro passes Fuller's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Fuller is looking to escape. Kimbro stalling. Let's hope that Kimbro has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Fuller tries to land a front kick but Kimbro steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Fuller throws a hook to the side of Kimbro's head but Kimbro sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Terrance Fuller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kimbro moves into range and clinches up with Fuller. Fuller is pressed up against the cage. Kimbro has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fuller down to the mat. Fuller avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Fuller lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Fuller scores to the head and body with a nice combination! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Kimbro showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Kimbro wants to clinch up but Fuller keeps it at a distance. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Fuller lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kimbro has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kimbro and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Kimbro clinches with his opponent.
Kimbro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kimbro drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Fuller can't keep his opponent in guard - Kimbro advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Kimbro prevents Fuller from standing back up.

Kimbro controlling the pace for now. Fuller wants to control but Kimbro is having none of it. Kimbro tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kimbro can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fuller is looking to escape. Kimbro controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Fuller bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kimbro's head. Kimbro changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fuller looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fuller is not content to let Kimbro control the position. Fuller is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fuller is being controlled here. Fuller gets back to half guard. Kimbro trying to pass the guard but Fuller defending well. Kimbro perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Despite being in the dominant position, Joe Kimbro just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fuller attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Fuller throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kimbro sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kimbro scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Fuller pushes Kimbro away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kimbro gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Kimbro controls the position. Kimbro is putting a hurting on Fuller here, landing some big shots from side control. Fuller seems a little lost for a moment, as Kimbro dominates the positioning. Fuller is pushing Kimbro's head away, looking to escape. Kimbro manages to hold on to the position though. Fuller is trying to get back to half guard. Terrance Fuller has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Joe Kimbro is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kimbro lands a decent elbow from side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Joe Kimbro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kimbro winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
