Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Micky Stillmen!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stillmen throws an overhand right that lands on Stanton's shoulder, as Stanton tries to avoid the shot.

Stillmen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Stanton to the ground. Stillmen is now in Stanton's guard.
Stillmen looking to sit in guard and control but Stanton gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Stanton gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stillmen to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Stillmen swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Stanton is now in Stillmen's guard. A big mistake from Stillmen there, giving up the dominant position!

Micky Stillmen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stillmen can do anything to dispel that myth.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well Stillmen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
