Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mauro Viale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Holden James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying James's choice of entrance music: Aerials. Holden James is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James slips a jab and a cross from Viale.
James looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
James dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Viale throws a series of punches but James moves out of range.
Viale throws a nice looking combination but James bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've been told by Viale's head coaches at Franklin D. Bluth Memorial Supergym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Viale throws a combination that misses
and James counters with a lovely straight right hand!
James scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
James uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Viale.
James throws out a counter right but Viale avoids it with no problem.

Viale takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
James throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Viale on the side of the head.

James lands with a good body shot.

James uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Viale.
James doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and James counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by James.

James lands a big head kick that sends Viale tumbling to the mat! James takes a step backwards and waves Viale back to his feet - he wants the finish!

James swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Viale.
James pounces like a tiger and cracks Viale with a vicious hook! Viale is down but not out! James follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Holden James is the new welterweight champion!
A less than humble Holden James misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Mauro Viale spoke after the fight, saying 'damn, Grandpa knows how to fight, congratulations to Holden for victory. Now I want to know one thing. What the fuck does it mean aerial? .... You're a fucking superhero?.... Jaja
never mind .... Send greetings to Grandma.'.
