The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa scores with a sloppy right hand. Stewart should have avoided that one.

Stewart clinches up with Balboa and pushes him back against the cage.
Balboa is trying to force a seperation but Stewart has the dominant position.
Balboa is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Stewart is defending well.
Balboa jumps guard but Stewart turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Balboa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Balboa closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stewart circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rocco Balboa. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Stewart connects with a solid leg kick.
Stewart throws a quick inside leg kick.

Stewart pushes Balboa up against the cage in a clinch.
Balboa on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Balboa blocking some punches.
Stewart is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Stewart unloads a knee to the mid-section. Balboa lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Balboa gets control of Stewart's arms and successfully pulls guard. Balboa will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stewart not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Stewart content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Balboa has locked up a guillotine! Balboa's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Stewart is holding on here and Balboa must be using up a lot of energy. Stewart has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Balboa gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
