Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Foot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isaac Wankerl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wankerl's choice of entrance music: Voodoo Chile by Jimi Hendrix. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Isaac Wankerl was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Wankerl blocks the leg kick.
Wankerl looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Foot is fending him off so far but Wankerl persists. Nope, Foot circles away and we're back to standing.
Foot thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wankerl shoots for a double leg takedown but Foot sprawls well. He's pushed Wankerl's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Foot moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Foot lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Isaac Wankerl has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Foot is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Wankerl is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Foot can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Foot is squirming around, avoiding Wankerl's attempts to control the action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Wankerl quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Wankerl but it's paid off an Foot is forced to tap! Nice work by Wankerl.
