The bell rings for round one and we are underway! El Guapo scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Sabre has one foot on El Guapo's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Sabre shoots in looking for a takedown. El Guapo tries to sprawl out of it but Sabre keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. El Guapo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A little jabbing left from El Guapo on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Sabre shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. El Guapo defends it nicely. Sabre pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces El Guapo back to the cage. Sabre follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Sabre shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. El Guapo is trying to defend but Sabre finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. El Guapo is not content to let Sabre control the position. El Guapo keeping moving, preventing Sabre from controlling successfully. Sabre keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of El Guapo's head. El Guapo keeping moving, preventing Sabre from controlling successfully. El Guapo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sabre's guard. El Guapo won't allow Sabre to sweep him here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

El Guapo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. El Guapo wants to pass the guard but Sabre is defending well. Sabre is controlling El Guapo's trapped leg to prevent El Guapo from advancing to side control. Sabre keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. El Guapo is trying to control. Sabre wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Sabre gets full guard. El Guapo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

El Guapo working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. El Guapo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sabre works some decent striking defense from the bottom. El Guapo looking to sit in guard and control but Sabre gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. El Guapo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sabre manages to get himself to full guard.
El Guapo won't allow Sabre to sweep him here. Feodore Sabre overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. El Guapo controls from within his opponent's guard. El Guapo trying to control but Sabre is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. El Guapo is fighting to break Sabre's control of his arms but Sabre is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Sabre is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sabre is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Sabre is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that El Guapo can do to turn this around? Sabre looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sabre will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. El Guapo wants to improve his position but Sabre is controlling well.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sabre connects with a nice short shot to El Guapo's temple.

Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Sabre seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if El Guapo can do anything to dispel that myth. Sabre is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Sabre scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Still in half guard, Sabre seems content to control.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Sabre works his foot free and advances to mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sabre cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
El Guapo taking shots to the head. Sabre is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. El Guapo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! El Guapo is trying to stand. El Guapo keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Sabre lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Feodore Sabre dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jab by El Guapo. A jab from Sabre does it's job there. Sabre closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. El Guapo has a hand on Sabre's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Sabre takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Sabre with shots to the head and body - El Guapo looks very uncomfortable down there. El Guapo is bucking up trying to escape but Sabre cracks him with another couple of good strikes. El Guapo's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. El Guapo wants to hold on but Sabre pushes him away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. El Guapo is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

It looks like Conchito El Guapo has been cut. Sabre scoring with strikes but El Guapo is staying in there. Sabre throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! El Guapo has his hands clasped together but Sabre breaks the hold and El Guapo is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Sabre!
