Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xavier Worner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Bedford!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Worner fails to land with a series of punches.

Bedford shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Bedford decides to stand up.

Bedford fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Worner to the ground. Bedford is now in Worner's guard.
Bedford is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bedford trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Bedford really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Worner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bedford is stalling in the full guard.
Worner looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Bedford's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Worner wants to sweep here but Bedford controlling him for the moment.

Worner is looking to stand up but Bedford isn't so interested in that idea.
Worner is trying to control the position but Bedford postures up.
Bedford stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Worner swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bedford shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bedford showed some decent athleticism there.
Bedford wants to stand but Worner has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bedford scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Bedford looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Worner is looking to control Bedford's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Worner avoid being mounted?
Worner is trying to get back to full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Still in half guard, Bedford seems content to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Worner tries to sprawl but Bedford drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Bedford working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnny Bedford showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bedford holds on and takes a little breather.

Worner wants to control from the top but Bedford keeps moving.

Bedford stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Worner swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bedford gets to his feet - Worner follows without any prompting.
A combination from Worner does no damage.
Bedford tries to bum rush Worner with a series of wild strikes but Worner uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bedford has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Bedford looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bedford seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Bedford tries to pass the half guard into mount. Worner knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Worner regains full guard. Nicely done.

Bedford is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Worner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bedford sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Worner somewhat.
Worner misses with a head kick.
Bedford dodges the punch combination from Worner.

Bedford has taken the fight to the clinch.

Bedford gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Bedford trying to mount his opponent but Worner defends it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Worner is trying to stand back up but Bedford is controlling him

Johnny Bedford comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Bedford winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
