The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Anthony Taglia and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brock manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Thompson won't allow Brock to sweep him here.
Brock is trying to control the position but Thompson postures up.
Brock is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Thompson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Brock has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Thompson is looking to improve his position.
Thompson wants to control the action here but instead Brock manages to pass to full mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thompson tries to reverse the position but Brock maintains control.
Thompson avoids a series of strikes thrown by Brock.

Thompson is wriggling around trying to escape.
Thompson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Thompson reaches up and pulls Brock towards him, trying to control the position. Brock manages to get a guillotine from the mount though! This could be big trouble for Thompson! Thompson tries to roll over - now Brock is on the bottom but the guillotine is really deep and Thompson has to tap out! Great work there by Brock!
