Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Oakenhorse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peeter Eeter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oakenhorse's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, TechnoViking - TechnoVikiing. Peeter Eeter has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thor Oakenhorse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peeter Eeter!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oakenhorse shoots in and bounces Eeter off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Oakenhorse advances position into side control!

Oakenhorse is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Eeter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Oakenhorse landing strikes.
Oakenhorse tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Oakenhorse has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Eeter is looking to reverse the position.

Oakenhorse wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Eeter, who protects the arm well.
Oakenhorse is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Eeter's shoulder. That is not cool.
Eeter throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Oakenhorse cracks Eeter with a big right hand but Eeter just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Oakenhorse tries to move to mount but Eeter blocks the move with his legs.
Oakenhorse is looking to take a break and control but Eeter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oakenhorse advances to full mount.

Oakenhorse is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Eeter has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Eeter wants to hold on but Oakenhorse pushes him away.
Eeter is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Oakenhorse is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Eeter can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Eeter is squirming around, avoiding Oakenhorse's attempts to control the action.

Oakenhorse goes for an armbar but Eeter turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Eeter.
Eeter missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Eeter wants to stand but Oakenhorse is controlling his posture from full guard.
Oakenhorse working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Eeter.
Eeter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oakenhorse. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Oakenhorse controls Eeter momentarily but Eeter frees himself.
Eeter trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Eeter would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Oakenhorse throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Eeter throws a head kick that misses.
Nice sprawl there from Eeter as Oakenhorse shoots in.
Eeter throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Thor Oakenhorse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oakenhorse shoots for a double leg takedown but Eeter sprawls well. He's pushed Oakenhorse's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Oakenhorse takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Eeter lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Oakenhorse is breathing heavily.
A punch combination from Eeter misses.
Oakenhorse blocks a head kick by Eeter.
Oakenhorse takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Eeter connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Eeter connects with a high kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A solid leg kick lands there for Eeter.
A nice combination there by Eeter.
Both fighters circling a little - Eeter finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Eeter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oakenhorse shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Eeter pinned against the cage. Eeter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thor Oakenhorse. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Eeter looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A good leg kick by Eeter.
Eeter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Oakenhorse closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Eeter to the mat! Eeter manages to get full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Eeter cracks the inside of Oakenhorse's front leg.
Eeter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Eeter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Eeter throws a head kick that Oakenhorse semi-blocks.
Oakenhorse throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Eeter connects with a high kick.
Peeter Eeter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Eeter throws a right and a left that both miss.
Oakenhorse shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Eeter but Eeter pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Eeter throws a sloppy head kick and Oakenhorse moves out of range easily.

Oakenhorse darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Thor Oakenhorse overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Oakenhorse throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Eeter blocking the ground and pound attempt from Oakenhorse.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Eeter lands with a thumping leg kick.
Oakenhorse is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Oakenhorse blocks the body kick.
Eeter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Peeter Eeter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A punch combination from Eeter misses.
Oakenhorse will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Eeter, right into the meat.
Eeter buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Eeter scores with a kick to the body.
Eeter with a jab.
An inside leg kick lands from Eeter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peeter Eeter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Oakenhorse in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Eeter tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Oakenhorse!
