The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lee preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Lee wants to get back to full guard.
Davies is trying to work for a kimura but Lee is defending well.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Davies enables Lee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Davies manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Lee has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Davies has his foot on Lee's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lee works his way back into a safe position though.

Davies has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Davies manages to escape and get back to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Davies drops back looking for a leg! Lee is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lee manages to kick Davies off! Davies jumps back into Lee's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lee gets caught napping as Davies dives in and scores a takedown. Lee manages to retain guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Davies working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Lee wants to sweep here but Davies controlling him for the moment.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Davies tries to clinch there but Lee circles away.
Lee swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Davies darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Lee throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Lee wants to get back to full guard but Davies has passed into side control.
Lee is trying to control Davies's posture but Davies avoids it.

Davies manages to capitalize on a mistake by Lee to take his back!
Davies has the hooks in. Lee is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Davies has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Lee has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Davies is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.
Davies is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Lee won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Davies off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Harry Davies!
