The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Hartman is trying to get back to full guard.
Hartman moves into full guard.
Moore trying to control the position from guard on top but Hartman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moore pushes down on Hartman's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Hartman's coaches at have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Moore postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hartman is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Moore, into his guard.
Hartman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Moore has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hartman has passed into side control.

Hartman has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Moore is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hartman yanks on the arm and Moore is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hartman.
