Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Codi Gale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hannibal Lyons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gale kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Gravity kills - Guilty. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gale swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lyons connects with a leg kick. Gale looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lyons has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Gale throws out a powerful jab.
Lyons just misses with a punch to the body.
Gale misses with a wild combination.
Lyons explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
A slow jab from Gale misses its intended target.
Gale works over Lyons's head and body with a nice combination.

Gale feints and then cracks Lyons's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lyons down.

Lyons tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gale was well out of range. Poor timing from Lyons.
Lyons cracks Gale with a good jab.
Nice uppercut lands for Gale. That snapped Lyons's head back.

Gale was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Lyons takes a swing at Gale's ribcage but misses.
Gale paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Lyons shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gale defends it nicely.
Gale fires out a quick counter leg kick but Lyons just manages to avoid it.
Gale lands a right hook to the body.
Lyons misses with a two punch combination.
Gale pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Gale tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lyons changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Lyons connects with an inside leg kick.
Crunch! Gale slams his shin into Lyons's torso.
Gale throws a half hearted mid kick.
Gale works Lyons's body with a nice hook.

Gale slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Gale tries a head kick but it misses.
Lyons keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A big right from Gale misses.
Lyons gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lyons checks the leg kick nicely there.
Gale does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Gale misses with a body shot.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lyons.
Gale stalks Lyons and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lyons's face. Lyons staggers backwards, shaken.
Lyons connects with a right hand. Gale shakes it off.
Lyons staying out of range there.
Lyons attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Gale connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Codi Gale dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Hannibal Lyons's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Gale moves out of range of the body kick from Lyons.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Lyons might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Gale has got the better of the exchanges.

Gale catches Lyons with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
