Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Light Diode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khalid Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Diode might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to It's a Great Day To Whoop Somebody's Ass. Hayes has chosen Flight of Icarus as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Khalid Hayes enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayes lands with a cross.
Diode checks a leg kick.
Diode went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Diode wants to clinch up but Hayes keeps it at a distance.
Diode will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Diode keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Diode dives in and grabs Hayes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hayes pushes down on Diode's head and hops out.
Khalid Hayes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hayes fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Diode.
Diode tries for a takedown but Hayes sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Diode throws a wild hook but Hayes just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Diode gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Hayes raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
