The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeleniuk throws a head kick that misses
and Hatfield counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jeleniuk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hatfield tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Jeleniuk manages to circle out of the way.
Jeleniuk clinches up with Hatfield and pushes him back against the cage.
Jeleniuk gets through Hatfield's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Jeleniuk tries a knee to the head but Hatfield blocks it.
Hatfield has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jeleniuk is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Hatfield blocks the elbow strike.
Jeleniuk using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hatfield has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Jeleniuk.
It looks like Nicky Hatfield has been cut.

Jeleniuk throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hatfields head.
