Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Glen Tennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wes Milton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Milton's choice of entrance music: Riotmaker. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Milton shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Milton showed some decent athleticism there. Tennis on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Milton takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Milton tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tennis knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Tennis moves into full guard.
Milton is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Tennis has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Milton trying to control but Tennis is working from the bottom. Tennis could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back. Milton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tennis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tennis is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tennis tries a head kick but it misses.
Milton tries to keep at a distance but Tennis has taken the fight into the clinch. Milton is trying to trip Tennis. He has hold of a leg but Tennis is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Milton persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Tennis tries to land a sweep but no joy. Milton lands a couple of elbows. Tennis is trying to keep Milton in close.
Tennis throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Tennis wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Milton is now in half guard. Tennis is looking for a sweep. Milton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Tennis is trying to control but can't.

Tennis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Milton is working away from the top position though. Tennis is breathing heavily. Milton is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Milton has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Milton tries to pass to full mount but Tennis defends it. Milton performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Tennis wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Milton is working for takedown but Tennis is calmly controlling the position for now. Milton being controlled against the cage. Milton on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Tennis throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Milton blocks it with crossed arms. Milton has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tennis is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Tennis tries a knee to the head but Milton blocks it.

Milton tightens his grip and picks Tennis up, before dumping him to the ground. Tennis manages to land in guard. Tennis wants to stand but Milton is controlling the position. Tennis striking off his back but it's not causing Milton any problems. Tennis trying to control the position.
Milton postures up and lands a big shot to Tennis's brow. Milton is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Milton pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tennis is keeping the position for now. Milton not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Milton wants to pass the guard but Tennis is keeping the position. Milton is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Tennis looking for a guillotine here but Milton defends easily.
Tennis can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Milton controls the pace. Milton postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
