Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ska Asap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Tinkl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Ska Asap! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Billy Tinkl! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Asap. Tinkl tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Asap wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Tinkl is still trying to improve position. Tinkl can't do much from the bottom here. Tinkl sneaks back into half guard. Asap is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tinkl is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Asap pulls his head out easily. Tinkl wants to get back to full guard. Tinkl has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tinkl with the active half guard here but Asap passes nicely into side control. Asap is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tinkl knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Tinkl is not content to let Asap control the position. Asap tries to advance to mount but Tinkl denies him. Asap controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Tinkl struggling a bit here. Tinkl sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Tinkl is pressing down on Asap's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Asap not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tinkl looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Asap closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tinkl did well to prevent Asap getting side control. Well, if Asap is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Asap has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The fighters are battling for position here. Tinkl manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Asap is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Tinkl tries to get to full guard but Asap has control of the leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Asap has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Asap avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Ska Asap is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Asap feints and as Tinkl raises his hands in defense, Asap changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ska Asap overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Tinkl seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Asap won't allow Tinkl to sweep him here. Asap got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tinkl has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Asap has managed to get both his arms back between Tinkl's legs - danger averted. Asap seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tinkl shoots in and drives through. Asap sprawls well. Asap gets the takedown into side control. Asap is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Asap bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Tinkl being controlled for a moment. Tinkl struggling a bit here. Tinkl throws a few strikes from the bottom but Asap takes advantage and mounts! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Asap takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Asap working for a submission but Tinkl is keeping him at bay.

Asap controlling from the full mount. Tinkl wants to control but Asap is having none of it. Asap content just to control the position here. Tinkl tries to hold on but Asap pushes him away. Asap controlling the position easily from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Asap seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tinkl for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. This is a sustained period of stalling by Asap. Asap definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Asap looking to secure an arm triangle but Tinkl defends it well. Tinkl regains half guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Horrible takedown attempt by Tinkl or perhaps it was just good defense by Asap, which made it look bad. Tinkl goes for a double leg but Asap avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Asap continues to drive forward. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tinkl is defended easily by Asap. Ska Asap has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Tinkl. Nice sprawl there from Tinkl as Asap shoots in. Despite the aggression on Tinkl's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Tinkl looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Asap! Tinkl takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! Asap changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Asap defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tinkl. Asap misses with a takedown attempt - Tinkl sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Asap has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tinkl after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ska Asap. That's going to take a lot out of him. Asap drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tinkl pulls his leg out and moves away.
Asap fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Tinkl is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Tinkl throws a head kick that misses. Asap shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Asap manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tinkl on his heels. He'll look to pass Tinkl's guard now, I'm sure. Asap showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Tinkl has his foot on Asap's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Asap works his way back into a safe position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Asap content to stall in guard here. Tinkl wants to sweep here but Asap controlling him for the moment. Asap controls from within his opponent's guard. Tinkl tries to land a sweep but no joy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Asap has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Tinkl to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Asap is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Tinkl pulls down on the head and he's put Asap to sleep! This one is all over!
