Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stan Darsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drunken Armadillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice inside leg kick there by Armadillo. That's going to slow Darsh down. Darsh fails with an attempt to clinch.
Darsh wants to clinch. Armadillo keeps the fight on the outside. Armadillo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Darsh is defending against the submission attempts here by Armadillo.
Armadillo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armadillo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Armadillo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Darsh's head. Darsh is trying to stand back up but Armadillo is controlling him

Darsh is not content to let Armadillo control the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Darsh connects with the punch.
It looks like Drunken Armadillo has been cut. Darsh is looking to clinch but Armadillo is avoiding it.
Darsh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Armadillo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Darsh but Darsh pushes him off and we're back to square one. Stan Darsh is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Darsh knocks Armadillo to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!? Armadillo is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on Armadillo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Armadillo is looking to reverse the position. Darsh wants to stand but Armadillo is controlling his arm. Armadillo is trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Armadillo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Darsh tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Darsh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Armadillo paws at him with a jab and circles away. Darsh rushes Armadillo and presses him up against the cage. Darsh scores with a shot to the side of Armadillo's head. Darsh avoids the elbow strike from Armadillo, against the cage.

A short uppercut from Darsh. Darsh lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Armadillo backwards. Darsh with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Armadillo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Darsh scores with a knee to the head.
Darsh creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Armadillo's defenses. Armadillo is working for takedown but Darsh is calmly controlling the position for now. Armadillo jumps guard.
Darsh would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Armadillo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Darsh is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Armadillo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Darsh's back instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armadillo looking for the RNC. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Darsh covering up well under a barage of strikes. Armadillo tries to keep control of the position but Darsh is staying busy. Armadillo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Armadillo tightening his grip on Darsh, looking for the choke.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Armadillo struggling to land strikes to the head as Darsh covers up. Armadillo is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Armadillo has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Darsh has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Darsh looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Armadillo misses with punches from the back. Darsh preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Armadillo. Darsh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Armadillo on the ground. Armadillo looking for the choke but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stan Darsh dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Drunken Armadillo's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Stan Darsh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drunken Armadillo. Armadillo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Darsh with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Darsh is fighting off a takedown attempt but Armadillo is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Darsh to the mat. Darsh regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Armadillo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Armadillo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Armadillo working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armadillo trying to control but Darsh is working from the bottom. Armadillo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Armadillo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Darsh is keeping the position for now. Armadillo wants to stand but Darsh is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Darsh avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Darsh is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Armadillo tries to close the distance and clinch but Darsh swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Armadillo has a takedown stuffed. Armadillo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Darsh tries to clinch and Armadillo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Darsh!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Armadillo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Darsh can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Armadillo looking to finish Darsh with some ground and pound. This is bad for Darsh! Drunken Armadillo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Armadillo controlling the position easily from mount. Armadillo moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Darsh has worked his arm free - good work by Darsh!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Darsh prevents Armadillo from moving into mount. Armadillo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Armadillo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Armadillo tries for a kimura but Darsh is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight! Stan Darsh showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Darsh, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
