Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lowell Lamb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tonna Emman! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lamb tries to land a front kick but Emman steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Emman throws a leg kick that is checked and Lamb counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lamb. Lamb trying to control but Emman is working from the bottom. Emman tries to land a sweep but no joy. Emman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lamb throwing strikes but missing. Lamb preventing the sweep. Emman managing to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lamb got a little sloppy there for a moment and Emman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lamb has managed to get both his arms back between Emman's legs - danger averted. Lamb wants to control from the top but Emman keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lamb gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Emman is looking for a triangle but Lamb pushes his legs off easily.
Lamb is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Emman working for a triangle but Lamb defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lamb wants to pass the guard but Emman is keeping the position. Lamb has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Emman wants to stand up but Lamb is controlling him. Lamb throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Lamb drops back looking for a leg! Emman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Emman manages to kick Lamb off! Lamb jumps back into Emman's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Lamb landing some decent shots from guard. Lamb might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lamb is looking to work some ground and pound but Emman has wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Emman keeping moving, preventing Lamb from controlling successfully.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A swing and a miss from Lamb. Emman wants to counter the offense by Lamb and move into the clinch position. Emman avoids a kick to the body.

He's got hold of a leg but Lamb swivels and escapes. Lamb keeps the fight on the outside. Lamb throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lamb could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Emman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lamb tries to avoid it but Emman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lamb to the ground. Lamb escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Lamb closes the distance but Emman moves to the side and Emman counters with a lovely straight right hand! Emman is looking to clinch but Lamb is avoiding it.
Lamb attempts a counter takedown but Emman avoids it well and moves away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lamb darts in trying to clinch and Emman counters with a leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lowell Lamb dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lamb throws out a loose jab but Emman uses good head movement to avoid it. Emman fails with a takedown attempt. No luck for Emman with that takedown attempt. Emman misses with a takedown and Lamb counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lowell Lamb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tonna Emman. Lamb circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lamb fails with an attempt to clinch.

Lowell Lamb is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lamb drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lamb trying to control the action but Emman is working from the bottom. Emman wants to get back to his feet but Lamb drags him back down. Lamb throws an elbow but Emman slips to the side and avoids it well. Lamb tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Emman is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lamb wants to lay and pray for a moment but Emman keeps working. Emman is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lamb off and has taken his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lamb rolls, trying to escape but Emman keeps control of the position.
Lamb is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Emman can do to turn this around? Lamb trying to get back to his feet but Emman is in full control for now. Lamb manages to reverse the position and now he's in Emman's guard. Nice work there by Lamb.
Lamb trying to control but Emman is working from the bottom. Lamb throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Emman is on top in guard.
Lamb has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Emman is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lamb. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lamb tries to improve position but can't. Emman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Lamb taking punishment in the form of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lamb is trying to work for a sweep but Emman has mounted him! Emman sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Lamb taking shots to the head. Lamb sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Emman is working for a submission of some sort.
Emman stands up and beckons Lamb to join him on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Lowell Lamb will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Emman fails in his attempt to clinch. Emman feints and as Lamb raises his hands in defense, Emman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Lamb looking for a guillotine here but Emman defends easily.

Emman stacks Lamb on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Emman! That's one minute gone in the round. Emman has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Lamb! Emman landing punches. Emman scoring with strikes but Lamb is staying in there. Lamb gets back to half guard. Emman is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lamb has managed to free his arm - good work. Emman stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Lamb to get to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Emman shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Emman escapes and gets back to his feet. Lamb displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Emman. Emman tries for a takedown but Lamb sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Emman scores with a takedown into Lamb's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lamb wants to stand up but Emman is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lamb keeping full guard, as Emman tries to pass. Emman prevents Lamb from getting back to his feet. Lamb is working an open guard so Emman takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Tonna Emman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lamb defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Emman. Lowell Lamb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tonna Emman.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Emman shoots and misses and Lamb counters with a straight right hand. Lamb lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Emman circles away quickly and effectively. Lamb checks the leg kick nicely there.

Lowell Lamb is winning the standup battle so far. Emman throws a right hand that misses
so Lamb counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Lamb throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Emman works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lamb with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Emman is trying to control the position but Lamb postures up. Tonna Emman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lowell Lamb is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Lamb working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Emman's head.
And that's the end of the fight! Tonna Emman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Lamb has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
