Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Riley Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory Markman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marshall comes to the cage accompanied by I Shot the Sheriff by Eric Clapton. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

25 - 23 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rory Markman!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Columbo Gatti and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Markman looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
It looks like Rory Markman has been cut.
Marshall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Markman is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Marshall with a body shot.
Marshall throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Marshall is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Markman.
Marshall feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Markmans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Marshall throws a head kick that half lands.
Markman is rocked!
Marshall missing with a left hand there. Markman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Marshall scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Marshall circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Markman drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Marshall follows Markman to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Riley Marshall!
Riley Marshall is the new welterweight champion!
Riley Marshall decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
