Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eliong Cabbat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mick Daley will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cabbat misses with a wild combination.
Cabbat misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cabbat scores with a takedown into Daley's guard. Cabbat decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Daley, up you get! Daley wants to clinch. Daley uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cabbat. Cabbat pushes Daley up against the cage in a clinch. Cabbat drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cabbat tries for a takedown. No joy.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eliong Cabbat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daley drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Daley gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cabbat.
Cabbat has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Daley is trying to keep an underhook but Cabbat manages to get the takedown into half guard. Cabbat is breathing heavily. Daley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cabbat is working away from the top position though. Cabbat content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Daley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cabbat. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cabbat prevents Daley from improving his position. Cabbat takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Daley trying to hold on to Cabbat's head to control him but Cabbat postures up.
Daley might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cabbat kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Daley pushes Cabbat off but Cabbat dives into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daley wants to control but Cabbat postures up. Daley is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Daley forces Cabbat back against the cage and clinches. Cabbat drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Daley gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Cabbat has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Daley is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Daley lands a nice shot to the body. Daley prevents a takedown attempt there.
Daley wants to break free but Cabbat has control.
Daley tries to pull guard but Cabbat won't allow it.
Daley drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cabbat pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Daley misses with a takedown attempt and Cabbat counters with a nice double leg into guard. Daley controls Cabbat momentarily but Cabbat frees himself. Cabbat wants to pass the guard but Daley is keeping the position. Cabbat stopping the sweep attempt from Daley. Daley is looking to stand up but Cabbat isn't so interested in that idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eliong Cabbat dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Daley throws a head kick but Cabbat moves out of range.
Daley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Cabbat keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Daley tries to clinch up but Cabbat circles away and keeps his distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daley tries to close the distance and clinch but Cabbat swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Daley wants to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daley shoots in looking for a takedown. Cabbat tries to sprawl out of it but Daley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cabbat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Eliong Cabbat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mick Daley. Daley shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Daley is breathing heavily. Daley shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cabbat as he avoids it easily. Daley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Daley misses with a takedown attempt - Cabbat sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Cabbat throws a right and a left that both miss. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Daley!
Daley stuffs the takedown. Cabbat has a takedown stuffed. Cabbat throws the left hand but Daley avoids the punch easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daley tries to clinch up but Cabbat circles away and keeps his distance. Daley wants to clinch. Daley with a lazy takedown attempt and Daley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Daley wants to clinch but Cabbat slips to the side and Cabbat counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Daley shoots and misses and Cabbat counters with a single leg into guard. Daley didn't expect that. Cabbat controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Cabbat wants to control from the top but Daley keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daley is trying to keep Cabbat in close.
Cabbat is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Cabbat trying to control the position from guard on top but Daley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Daley trying to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Daley shoots and misses and Cabbat counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Daley! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eliong Cabbat dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Daley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cabbat sprawls well initially but Daley persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Daley trying to mount his opponent but Cabbat defends it. Cabbat controlling the position well. Cabbat is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Daley's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Daley's back! Cabbat slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Daley is in bad spot here.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daley is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Will Cabbat go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
What can Daley do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Cabbat has good solid back control here. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Cabbat's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Eliong Cabbat just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Daley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cabbat is fending him off so far but Daley persists. Nope, Cabbat circles away and we're back to standing. The fight stays on the outside here - Daley looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daley fails with the takedown. Daley looks for a takedown but Cabbat sprawls well. Eliong Cabbat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mick Daley. Daley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cabbat pinned against the cage. Cabbat gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Cabbat fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Daley, pushing him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Cabbat is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Daley pulls him back up using the underhooks. Daley can't get the takedown.

Daley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Daley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Cabbat works a leg free and moves into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cabbat in particular looking to stall. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cabbat is looking to take a break and control but Daley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Eliong Cabbat showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cabbat, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
