Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bill Geyts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Snoop Dog! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Geyts closes the distance but Dog moves to the side and Dog counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Geyts lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Geyts gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Geyts lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Dog wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Geyts misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Dog jumps guard but Geyts stands there with Dog around his waist. Dog gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Dog tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Geyts smiles and moves away.

Bill Geyts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Geyts wants to clinch. Geyts tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Geyts forces Dog back against the cage and clinches.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Geyts lands an elbow inside. Dog should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Geyts is stalling here.

Geyts manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dog trying to keep a closed guard but Geyts is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dog looking to hit a scissor sweep but Geyts is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Geyts wants to stand and escape but instead Dog has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Geyts knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dog on the ground. Geyts wants to get back to his feet but Dog is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Geyts will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Dog is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Dog tries to land a leg kick but Geyts saw it coming and moves away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Geyts throws a front kick aimed at Dog's knee but Dog avoids it well. Geyts moves into the clinch. Geyts holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Geyts misses with a straight left. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dog. Geyts moves into the clinch successfully.

Dog is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
