Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Christian Laford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Yon Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laford comes to the cage accompanied by Jail Break. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lee Yon Po! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yon Po misses with a two punch combination.
A little feinted left hand from Laford on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Yon Po displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Laford throws out the jab. Yon Po throws a counter combo. We've been told by Laford's head coaches at Nonprofit Vegas Elite $50 ($1000 value) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Yon Po connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Christian Laford has been cut. Yon Po is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Laford. Yon Po throws a looping overhand right but Laford ducks down to avoid it. Yon Po fails with a takedown attempt from distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sloppy strikes from Laford. Those never looked like landing. Yon Po throws a leg kick that is checked and Laford counters with a two punch combo. Yon Po throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

and Laford counters with a series of strikes. Yon Po will be more careful next time no doubt. Yon Po has taken the fight to the clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Yon Po as Laford tries to tie him up. Yon Po has Laford pushed against the cage. Yon Po lands with a left to the head. Yon Po lands a shoulder strike. Yon Po prevents the takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yon Po creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Laford's defenses. A nice right hand lands inside from Yon Po. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Yon Po. Yon Po lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Laford taking a breather. Yon Po lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Laford. A nice right hand lands inside from Yon Po. Yon Po stalling the fight.
Laford tries to circle away but Yon Po has him pinned against the cage. Yon Po breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick by Laford misses and Yon Po cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Nice sprawl there from Laford as Yon Po shoots in. Laford swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Laford misses with a few strikes there.
Laford connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Yon Po takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Yon Po swings for the body but Laford moves out of range.
Laford has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Yon Po finds it's way round the side to connect with Laford's head. Yon Po connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yon Po looks to score with a jab to the body but Laford is just out of range. Laford is looking to counter punch. Yon Po shoots for a takedown but Laford saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Christian Laford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lee Yon Po. Yon Po misses with a hook. Laford ducked under it nicely. Laford swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Yon Po lands a slapping body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A chopping leg kick lands by Yon Po. Laford fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Yon Po on the side of the head. Yon Po displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Laford. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lee Yon Po dominated that round. The cut man is working on Christian Laford's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Laford with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Yon Po to score with a decent uppercut. Yon Po throws out a loose jab but Laford uses good head movement to avoid it. Yon Po throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Laford is looking to counter punch. Laford throws a body shot but no joy. Yon Po lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Laford is rocked! Laford throws a nice looking combination but Yon Po bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Laford fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Yon Po moves into range and clinches up with Laford.

Laford has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Yon Po creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Christian Laford's cut is getting worse. Yon Po leaning his opponent against the cage. Laford tries to break the clinch but Yon Po is controlling the position. Yon Po dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yon Po scores with an uppercut up the middle. Yon Po with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Yon Po lands a hook to the side of the head. Oh Laford is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lee Yon Po seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Yon Po pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Laford seems to have got his legs back now. Yon Po misses with a hook to the body
and Laford counters with a straight right hand. A left lands for Yon Po. Yon Po shoots in and drives through. Laford sprawls well. Yon Po just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromLaford. Yon Po has been the more effective fighter overall so far. This has been an exciting period of action! Laford slips a jab and a cross from Yon Po.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Laford throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Lee Yon Po seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yon Po jabbing away but nothing is landing. Yon Po slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Yon Po misses the jab. Yon Po scores with a jab.
Christian Laford's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Laford shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Yon Po showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Laford.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice uppercut lands for Laford. That snapped Yon Po's head back.
Yon Po takes a swing at Laford's ribcage but misses. Laford throws a big counter combination but Yon Po scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Laford steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yon Po. It looked like Laford wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Yon Po throws a body punch but Laford moves out of range. Laford is looking for a counter combo. Yon Po looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Yon Po!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lee Yon Po showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Christian Laford's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Laford takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Yon Po slips a jab and a cross from Laford.
Yon Po rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Laford moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Laford is looking for a counter combo. Laford throws a nice looking combination but Yon Po bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Yon Po throws a chopping leg kick but Laford manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Laford is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Yon Po. Laford uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Yon Po. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Yon Po.

and Laford counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Christian Laford has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

enabling Laford to counter with a crisp jab. Laford moves away from the strike by Yon Po. Yon Po throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A big right from Laford misses. Laford ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Yon Po misses the shot to the body. Laford is looking to counter punch. Yon Po misses with a low kick. A counter left hand to the body from Laford misses its target. Yon Po cracks the inside of Laford's front leg.

Yon Po is defending well against a takedown attempt. Yon Po is pushing Laford up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Yon Po pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Yon Po scores with a jab to the body. A bone on bone clash there as Laford blocks the leg kick.

Yon Po fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Laford. Yon Po thuds a left hand into Laford's body. Laford takes one on the button. Yon Po slips a jab and a cross from Laford.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Yon Po throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lee Yon Po is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Yon Po slips under a jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Lee Yon Po comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Yon Po has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
