Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anton Alvarro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anton Alvarro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Daniels! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alvarro moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Daniels fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Alvarro throws a combination that misses and Daniels counters with a nice double leg into side control. Alvarro won't be happy with that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alvarro is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Daniels has just dragged him back down to the mat. Daniels thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Daniels working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Daniels wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Alvarro, who protects the arm well. Daniels looks gassed! Alvarro is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Daniels tries for a kimura but Alvarro is defending well. Alvarro avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Daniels.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Daniels has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Alvarro tries to bench press Daniels off him but Daniels keeps the position. Alvarro is working hard here to advance position. Alvarro looks to move to half guard but instead Daniels has passed into mount! Damn! Daniels has hold of Alvarro's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Alvarro manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Alvarro is looking to improve his position but Daniels isn't that keen on the idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Daniels looking to secure an arm triangle but Alvarro defends it well. Daniels is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Alvarro can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Daniels lands a big elbow. Daniels looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Alvarro gets back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alvarro tries to kick Daniels off but Daniels keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Daniels slips a nice elbow through Alvarro's hands, connecting with Alvarro's forehead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Alvarro is looking to escape. Daniels throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Alvarro trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Daniels manages to pass to mount!
Daniels looking to control and managing it successfully. Alvarro is trying desperately to improve position. Daniels is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Alvarro has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Daniels is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Alvarro is surviving well by controlling Daniels's body position as best he can. Alvarro tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Daniels dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Alvarro lands a nice leg kick that just misses Daniels's sensitive parts. Daniels keeps the fight on the outside. Alvarro throws a right hand that Daniels ducks under and follows up with a left that Daniels also avoids with ease. Alvarro staying out of range there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daniels misses with a double jab.

That's one minute gone in the round. Alvarro feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Daniels's calf. Daniels showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Alvarro.
Alvarro tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Daniels paws at him with a jab and circles away. Alvarro tries to clinch there but Daniels circles away.
Alvarro throws a series of punches but Daniels avoids them all with ease. Alvarro buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Alvarro fails in his attempt to clinch. Daniels bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Jack Daniels has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. You can see the frustration on Alvarro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Daniels is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Alvarro is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Daniels tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alvarro tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Daniels wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Alvarro wants to control but Daniels postures up. Daniels wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Alvarro, who protects the arm well. Daniels tries to advance position but instead Alvarro slips a leg back in to half guard. Daniels is tying to control. Alvarro wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Daniels is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Daniels is trying for a kimura here. Alvarro looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Daniels wins by kimura!
