The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maycon jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Underdog throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Maycon counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Underdog tries to clinch but Maycon moves out of range.
Underdog shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Maycon but Maycon pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Maycon connects with a right hand. Underdog shakes it off.
Underdog misses with a takedown attempt - Maycon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Underdog will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Underdog tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Maycon defends well and Underdog ends up having to push Maycon into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Maycon shoots in for a takedown but Underdog shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
As Maycon looks to move away, Underdog throws a big counter combo bu Maycon just gets out of the way.
Maycon avoids the head kick by Underdog.

A nice side step and Maycon releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
