Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Albert Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Shumate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fish looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Shumate.
Fish connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Shumate momentarily.
Shumate ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Shumate looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Fish waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Shumate.
Shumate lands a lovely overhand right.
Shumate uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fish.
Shumate takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Fish looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Fish tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Fish misses with a right hand
enabling Shumate to counter with a crisp jab.
Fish walks into a jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shumate throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fish on the side of the head.
Fish is rocked!
Fish takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Oh Fish is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shumate lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Fish head around and knocks him out cold! Shumate hops onto the ropes and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Adam Shumate!
