Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khaled Kalil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian OTool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalil kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Black Rob - Whoa!. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Khaled Kalil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian OTool! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! OTool comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. A nice inside leg kick there by Kalil. That's going to slow OTool down. OTool fails to land with a series of punches.
OTool scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Kalil moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Kalil misses with a head kick.
Kalil throws a head kick but OTool moves out of range.
OTool lands a nice hook to Kalil's body. Kalil takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Kalil is on the wrong end of a nice combination from OTool. This has been an exciting period of action! OTool tries to clinch but Kalil moves out of range. Khaled Kalil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. OTool misses with a wild combination.

OTool throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A head kick misses from Kalil. OTool steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Kalil. Kalil lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Kalil throws a head kick that misses. Kalil buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kalil throws a leg kick but OTool checks it. OTool rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kalil moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kalil lets loose with a powerful body kick. OTool will feel that in the morning. OTool has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Kalil scores with a leg kick.
Kalil fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and OTool has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. OTool pushes Kalil up against the cage in a clinch. Kalil blocking some punches.
A head punch on the inside from OTool fails to land. OTool working aggressively here.

Kalil escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
OTool on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Kalil misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kalil looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. OTool misses with a series of wild punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kalil wants to slow OTool down by chopping away at his legs. OTool throws a series of punches but Kalil avoids them all with ease. OTool rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kalil moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kalil throws a nice outside leg kick. Kalil throws a nice inside leg kick. OTool checks a low kick from Kalil. OTool swinging wildly here.
OTool moves in looking to clinch but Kalil pushes him off. Kalil misses with a head kick.
Good work by OTool as he checks the leg kick. OTool fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kalil manages to avoid it. No joy there for OTool, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
OTool's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Kalil looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Kalil connects with a vicious head kick that knocks OTool to the floor! Kalil dives in looking for the finish!
It looks like Brian OTool has been cut. Kalil sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. OTool defending well though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. OTool is staying active underneath Kalil, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. OTool blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kalil. Kalil stands up and beckons OTool to join him on the feet. OTool looks to land a combination but Kalil avoids it well. A punch combination from OTool misses. Kalil buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

OTool steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Kalil. Kalil lands with a kick to the ribs.
Kalil connects with an inside leg kick. Kalil circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! OTool drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Kalil follows OTool to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Khaled Kalil! After winning the bout, Khaled Kalil thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
